It's poppy time. I have already taken so many pictures that I have enough poppy shots for the next two years, but I just can't stop myself. I love poppies :-)

I love poppies. I think it was your picture of your Pacific coast poppies that lead me to your page in the first place. They're so different, but still beautiful, and I wish I could see them one day.

It is a poppy! Is that the narcotic type- or are they all the narcotic type. I am reminded of 'The Wizard of Oz'. If there was a field of them you could ride through them and begin to believe you were in Oz.

Watch out!

When I was little "The Wizard of Oz" made me believe that all poppies are narcotic, and I was always afraid to fall asleep near a field.
